The Foundation for Hospital Art’s mission is to bring comfort and hope through art to people in healthcare facilities around the world. Grant supports a project to involve and unite technical college students in the US and in Germany, to make a difference in their community. PaintFests will involve as many as 100 students from Atlanta’s North Metro Technical College’s Nursing Program and 100 from Detmold, Germany’s Felix Fechenbach Berufskolleg’s Child Development Program. The resulting murals will be united in Germany and donated to hospitals in Detmold and Dortmund, Germany. |
