Grant Decision Process
Applicants will be notified in writing
shortly after a decision has been made regarding their grant
request.
If a grant is awarded, the grantee will be
asked to sign a written grant agreement that describes the
purpose and conditions of the grant. Funds are generally disbursed
to grantees when all adequate documentation has been furnished
to the Foundation. If a grant is awarded on a conditional basis,
such conditions should generally be satisfied and the grant
funded within a 12-month period. Due to the Foundation’s
specific mission and limited resources, the Foundation cannot
fund all worthwhile requests. The decision of the Board of
Trustees of The Halle Foundation to not fund a grant is not
intended to reflect any disapproval of the merits of the proposal
or of the applicant organization.
